PBIS
Positive Behavior INtervention Support
What Is the Goal of PBIS?
The primary goal of PBIS is to prevent the development and the intensifying of problem behaviors and maximize academic success in all students. PBIS expectations are in place for all areas of the school; cafeteria, restrooms, hallways, buses, classrooms, and the playground.
The four behavior characteristics we will be promoting here at LGES are the “Be-Attitudes”. Be Responsible, Only Kind, Always Safe, and Respectful. ROAR!
PBIS is a program that requires the support of all students, parents, and staff in order for it to be successful. Our expectation is that we can keep the excitement going as we enter the 2017-2018 school year!

Student Pledge

Class PawsClass Paws:
Class Paws may be given by a homeroom teacher or a resource teacher to ANOTHER class. Teachers cannot give Class Paws to their own class. Classroom teachers can decide how frequently they choose to hand out class paws TO ANOTHER CLASS and what merits the earning of that class paw. Resource teachers may also give a class paw to a well behaved class during their resource time. Classes that receive 5 class paws will be given a reward by their teacher. After the first 5 paws, rewards will be given in increments of 10 paws. Possible Rewards for Earning Class Paws
